As experiencing nature through media becomes ever more the new norm the boundaries start to blur between constructed and pre-existing realities.
Hentschläger’s work probes the question of whether physical “nature” and the concept of the “original” can still culturally be meaningful in the Anthropocene. What exactly is a natural experience now? What can be called original, what is to be understood as constructed and artificial, and do such distinctions still matter?
